About Me

Be good to yourself, if you don’t take care of your body, where will you live?  – Kobi Yamada

Jennifer has been a licensed massage therapist since 1993, with over 25 years of experience, working in various clinics and offices with a variety of healthcare professionals as a massage therapist and physical therapy aid. She is also a licensed acupuncturist and received a master’s of science degree in Oriental Medicine in 2011, which includes studies in both acupuncture and herbal medicine.

Jennifer was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and is a graduate of Punahou School. “On a personal note, I am blessed to have grown up here in these beautiful islands, being exposed to a variety of cultures and philosophies, with a strong love and respect of nature, the ocean, and the great outdoors.” Jennifer also has a master’s degree in music and studied classical piano, chamber music, accompanying, music theory, and ethnomusicology. “All my life I have had a passion for both music and health, which has contributed to my ongoing interest in sound, frequency, resonance, and vibrational medicine, of which I am excited to incorporate into my treatments.”

In my own ongoing personal holistic path of wellness, I enjoy receiving and incorporating many things on a regular basis to keep me balanced and healthy, including [acupuncture, herbs, massage, prayer, meditation, qigong, yoga, exercise, neuro-emotional technique, naturopathy, and homeopathy].

As with music, I prefer to be a collaborative artist as well with my clients. I truly enjoy sharing and empowering others with the tools I’ve learned both professionally and personally, to increase their OWN self-awareness, and allow the wisdom of their OWN bodies to create and maintain inner balance, harmony, health, and wellness.”
